Today, on April 17, 2021, on the territory of the Children’s City Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital of Almaty, an action on greening the city was held among representatives of subordinate cultural organizations of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main purpose of the event is to attract the public to participate in environmental protection, to contribute to the greening of the city.
It is worth noting that in modern conditions, the role of greening the city is very important. Green spaces clean the air from transport gas emissions, reduce noise, increase air humidity, reduce air temperature in summer and increase it in winter, in addition, the quality of urban landscaping has a positive effect on the health and well-being of city residents. Also, green spaces contribute to creating an environment that has a positive impact on all aspects of human activity and on its aesthetic needs.
As part of the campaign, employees of the State Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Saltanat” together with representatives of all subordinate institutions of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan of Almaty planted about 500 seedlings of deciduous trees, thereby making an invaluable contribution to the landscaping of the city.
